Sis. Latrisa Pugh has been surrounded by music her entire life. Her family is filled with musicians and singers who have all served in the church. It is no surprise to anyone but Latrisa that God led her to grow in her worship through music. Born in Clarke County, Alabama, she grew in her love for music through church and band. When she moved to Tuscaloosa to attend The University of Alabama, she joined the Million Dollar Band and marched for four years. She joined Liberty Baptist Church as minister of music in June of 2021. She believes that worship is an expression of our love for God not only in song, but also in how we live. Sis. Pugh loves to assist in creating a welcome atmosphere so everyone present is ready to receive the word from God as delivered by the Pastor McDowell or guest ministers.
